Let the bloggin’ begin!

Okay, ready to start once again. I’ve missed a couple of days since the last post. Monday was Valentine’s Day and I also got confirmation that our mortgage refinance has gone into effect officially. Signatures, payments, letter from our attorney’s office, everything was sent overnight and confirmed the following day. Thank you bastards at Citi Mortgage!

We had some more good luck in that Jayne had Valentine’s Day off! We had a really nice lunch sitting outside in a place in the Marina just north of us. We actually had to move our seat three times, chasing the sun around the side of the building as the shade was spreading over us. Finally we settled down, had a great lunch including a chilly slice of key lime pie. 74° and sunny and lunch with my Honey! Sounds like something Michael Scott would say. So anyway, the delay with the blog is somewhat justified given my awesome two days.

Today, in trying to keep riding the wave of positive vibes around here, I got dressed and up into my machine right away this morning, as soon as my caregiver Paul arrived and Jayne left for work. For the first time in a very long time I had my coffee before 10 AM like a regular human being, instead of sitting up in bed and lying around until noon before I got to enjoy the day and do a little work. Going to try again tomorrow and hope I can start a brand-new routine. So that was that. I started writing a book that I’ve been threatening to undertake in the last 10 years. I had to purchase the dictation software I needed because I was using a (pirated) version that was terribly out of date. Everything is all squared away and I’m crawling forward.

I’m planning to be around tomorrow and if there’s any excitement I’ll be sure to let you know.

Peace and blessings.

20 years ago a diving accident left me paralyzed in a wheelchair. Outrageous experience? Yes, beyond imagining. I've learned a bit about myself and just how f'ked up Life can get. Beautiful in places, not so much in others. I choose Love and to seek out the beauty wherever it is. Maybe share some where there isn't any. No matter what, spread the Golden Rule people. Peace and blessings.
