The iBook Store opens its shelves to new writers.

No sooner after I decide to put my new plan as a writer and blogger into action, Apple announces that it is going to open up its iBook store on the iPad to new writers. No publisher, no agent, just follow the requirements needed for electronic distribution and submit. The submission process is easy enough, but there are services out there that help with preparation, distribution and marketing available for a very reasonable price.

Just knowing this really takes some pressure off on the creative side of things. Granted, it’s been a long time since I’ve revisited structure, the organizing of ideas or any storytelling fundamentals,  whether it be fiction or nonfiction. This is great. This is really great. I now know that there is actually an outline, a pipeline that doesn’t require jumping through flaming hoops. It’s just one less thing to get hung up on, or turn into an excuse for not doing any work. Or, for trying at all.

Peace.

28 years ago a diving accident left me paralyzed from the neck down in a wheelchair. It has been an outrageous experience beyond imagining. All this time I've been learning about myself and just how challenging a Life can get. Beautiful in places, not so much in others. But, I choose Love and to seek out beauty wherever it is. Maybe share some where there isn't any. No matter what, I want to spread the Golden Rule we all learned growing up. Peace and blessings.
